How To Dry Citrus Fruit

Dried fruit is rustic and can be placed in garlands, wreaths and Christmas trees giving a color and texture boost to your Christmas decor.

You will need:

Baking Sheet

Parchment Paper

3 Citrus Fruits of your choice, we used clementines

Kitchen Knife

Cutting Board

Paper Towels

Optional –  Twine or Ribbon for Hanging

Suggested Materials:

Preheat your oven to 225 F

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

1. Slice each clementine into about four slices approximately a quarter of an inch thick.

2. Place slices between paper towels and press out excess moisture.

3. Place the slices onto the parchment lined baking sheet and bake for two to three hours.

4. Allow to cool. After cooling they can be used immediately or stored in a paper bag for later use.

Optional –  Thread twine or ribbon though each slice and hang.
