Mini succulent gardens make great gifts, centerpieces and home decor. We used the Royal Norfolk Santa Fe Lime-Green Solid Stoneware Bowl from Dollar Tree for our mini succulent gardens. Use a container that isn’t too deep. Fill your container 3/4 full of soil.

We chose our first succulent for it’s height.

Place each succulent into the soil. Do not break the roots. Leave a little space around each succulent and cover with a layer of soil. Experiment with different heights, colors and shapes of succulents.

Succulents nicknamed “spillers” spill over the edge of the planter to give visual interest. Our succulent gardens have recently been misted with water. It’s important to remember to not over water succulents. A general rule is to water when the top half of the soil is dry.

That’s all there is to it. Mini succulent gardens are Fast, easy and fun.
